This is used as a secondary crusher. Very useful when close range size of the product is desired used for crushing minerals/ores, broken glass, Ferro-alloys, (except low carbon ferro- chrome) magnetic material to deformation of steel shots.

Tooth Roller crushers are used for crushing coals or any friable materials.

It is a one step grinding equipment for reducing -8mesh to -325 mesh in a very short time for quality control and lab analysis. It can be used also for very abrasive material like fussed silica. It is sturdy Equipment. The stator / rotor are made of 10-12% Mn-steel. Dust emission prevention arrangement is also possible.

It is suitable for grinding minerals, ores, chemicals, paints and pigments, soft and permanent magnetic material like Barium ferrite and alnico. Type of the mill can be Batch or Continuous.  Grinding can be wet or dry.

Laboratory Ball Mill:


Hydro cyclone is very important for the separation of fine material from the cores material. Usually hydro cyclone is a small Cylindro conical vessel with involute, inlet and apex. This is very simple unit to handle large volume of slurry with specific size separation. In fact it is replacing spiral classifier in the wet ball mill circuit.

From 25mm dia.  to 150 mm dia.

Laboratory Model Hydro Cyclone:
This unit is very essential for the fixing of the parameters for scaling up to the pilot and production level. SKL manufactures the laboratory model hydrocyclone comprising of a slurry pump, slurry mixer, overflow collector with pipeline fittings, valves, pressure gauge etc in Stainless steel 304. It is a very compact unit and it’s a must for R&D Laboratory.


Disc Pelletiser is used to enlarge the size of the particles from their fines. The agglomerated product is sometime necessary particularly for certain reactions and also for ease of transportation. This is most applicable for making catalyst, magnetic material and also for the feed preparation before firing in the rotary furnace. The size of the pellet can be 3mm to 30mm 

Size of the Disc:
From 375mm dia.  to 2000 mm dia. with corresponding hp0.5 to 5 hp.

From 1kg to 1 ton per batch.

Material of construction:
M.S. or Stainless steel 304/316.

Disc Pelletiser


This is a very simple machine works on the principle of hindered settling. This is particularly used to remove light material from the heavy one. It can be also used to wash clay and remove mica from the ores and minerals before being put in beneficiation circuit. This is particularly very important before the floatation process. Floatation process is adopted to upgrade the minerals and ores. Its performance is based on the ratio of specific gravity of the materials. The value of the ratio of the specific gravity 2.5 will give excellent separation. It consumes very low hp.


From 250 kg/hr to 50 ton/hr and the hp for individual compartment from 0.5 to 5 hp.

PBM is a device for the following,

  • Micron and sub-micron grinding.
  • Alloying.
  • Mixing of solid -solid and solid- liquid to produce a truly homogenous product in a very short time.

The above machine can be used for analytical purposes, control of process parameter and scaling up. It is mostly used for expensive materials, which is available in small quantity and with no- loss in grinding process and less contamination. PBM is by far the best device to develop new parameters. In the case of grinding hard pure material this is the only option.


  • Micron sub micron generation.
  • Four samples can be made at a time.
  • Very small quantity of sample can be used.
  • No contamination by the bowl and the grinding media.
  • Cycle of grinding time is very less.
  • It can be used for grinding material up to -250 mesh within a very short time.

  • Special cooling arrangement can be provided for the bowls.

SKL can supply a PBM with the following;

Size and number of balls will vary from application to application. SKL will provide the above along with the machine.

The PBM will be supplied with either inbuilt or separate control panel.

Features of Control Panel:

  • Control panel: Variable frequency, stepless speed regulation, programmable controls, LED display, automatic timing positive inversion and time off.


It is mainly used for removing light and fine material from the feed. Usual application is limited to -100 mesh material which cannot be handled by Jigging machine. It was found to be most effective when one material is heavy and the recovered material is very expensive.


Typical application is the recovery of Gold, Silver, Copper, Zinc and other precious and semi precious materials. It is also found to be useful for graphite recovery.


SKL manufactures the above tables in 2 sizes i.e. 6 feet x 16 feet and 3 feet x 8 feet.

Capacity depends on the value of the recovered material. Generally it varies from 200 to 500 kg/hr of throughput. Hp requirement is very less. It is from 1hp to 5 hp.  


This is mainly used for beneficiation of minerals and ores. It can be used either as a batch or continuous manner.

It consists of a square base cells fitted with a receding type impeller fitted on a shaft. The shaft and the impeller assembly are enclosed in a stand pipe and a hood with square shape tooth. A small pipe with a valve is provided on a stand pipe for the admission of air. The agitating assembly is mounted on two nos. bearings contained in a M.S. bearing housing. There will be provision for lifting the cells of various sizes from the bottom. The bearing housing is firmly fitted on a channel type M.S. structure. Impeller is rotated by a motor and ‘V’ belt pulley.


Volume of the cell can be from 1 cubic feet t to 40 cubic feet and hp could be from 1 to 7.5 hp.

We also make Lab model flotation cell with SS304 cell. The cell volume can be 500 ml, 1000 ml and 2000 ml.

Lab Model Flotation Cell:


A battery of 4 Floatation cell consists of 4 nos cells with each fitted with a shaft and an impeller covered by a stand pipe with a diffuser.  2 nos cells are rotated by same 1 Hp motor with V belt pulley.  The shaft is suspended from a bearing housing fitted with ball and spherical roller bearings. There is intermediate box with adjustable nos of plates to control the level of slurry of floatation cell.  Each I box is provided with a spring loaded valve to discharge the coarse material whenever required.  Ball valve is fitted on the stand pipe to facilitate the entry of air without the help of any blower.  There will be peddles to remove foams from the cell.  The peddles are rotated by gear box and one of the motor through V belt pulley. There will be common launder with outlet for each cell for the overflow.  The overflow will lead into a pan filter of 15 inches x 15 inches size with filting arrangement. Vaccum is applied to the pan filter by a vaccum pump run by 1.5 hp motor.  Each cell is rotated by 1 Hp 415 v 3000 rpm.  The unit is supplied alongwith control panel indicating RPM of each shaft.  Pan filter is equipped with perforated plate on the top filter cloth is fitted.  All the cells will be provided with cast iron lining upto the height where maximum abrasion due to the movement of slurry will occur.  All the cells are placed on common channel frame.

LABORATORY ROTARY BEAKER (Pulveriser Unit) SKL Pulveriser

It consists of a vertical cylindrical grinding chamber fitted with breaker plates at the top and a perforated screen plate.  It is fitted with a shaft with disc and swing hammer at the periphery of the disc.  Shaft is rotated by a motor.  Feed box is at the top with a flap valve for controlling the feed.  The unit is mounted on a table.  The entire chamber, disc, hammer, screen plate are all made of 304 SS.  It is also provided with filter cloth for the escape of air.  A leak proof swing door is provided at the front of the chamber for the replacement of the screen plate and hammers.


Screening is an important operation in mineral dressing for the preparation of the feed material to the next process.

Types and Sizes:

We make Single, Double and Triple deck Vibrating screen with size of the deck from 600 mm, 900 mm, 1200 mm and 1500 mm width while the length varies from 1200 mm to 3000 mm.


Capacity of the screening machine is variable depending on the following factors,

  • Throughput.
  • Bulk density of the material.
  • Mesh size of the separation.
  • Particle size distribution of the feed.
  • Moisture content.

Great attention is being given by environmentalist, various pollution control boards, state and central, throughout the world to re-cycle, destroy various industrial, domestic, municipal and hospital waste for the following purposes:

  • Industrial waste like exhaust gases and polluted affluent for sake of providing clean atmosphere.
  • Domestic and industrial solid wastes, mostly biological products like leftover vegetables, unwanted mangroves and shrubs for producing domestic fuel and fertilizer.
  • Hospital wastes to destroy the used medical things like IVF plastic bottles, syringes, plastic tubes, medical vials, bottles, flesh and bones.

A great deal of efforts are given by Scientist, Technologist to contain the unwanted things which is a threat to human life, weather etc. The very purpose of this effort is to re-cycle for the useful purposes.

Vegetable Waste Shredder:


(As per IS Standards 6495-1984)

It shall consist of a circular drum of 1000 mm inside diameter and 500 mm inside length made of M.S. Two equally spaced lifters shall be solidly attached longitudinally over the entire length of the inner side of the drum in such a manner as to prevent accumulation of material between the lifter and the drum, The door should be so constructed as to fit into the drum to form a smooth continuous inner surface with the shell of the drum without having any gap between them and during the test shall be rigidly fastened to prevent loss of the sample. The drum should be rotated on stub axles attached to the ends of the drum by means of flanges, welded so as to provide smooth inner surfaces. The apparatus shall be fitted with a revolution counter and with an automatic device to stop the drum after predetermined number of revolutions. The apparatus shall be powered with a minimum of 1.5 kW so as to ensure the drum attains full uniform speed in one revolution, rotates uniformly, and stops within one revolution. The height of the drum axis shall not be more than 700 mm from the floor or the receiving container, to avoid any appreciable degradation of the sample during taking out the sample after the test due to excessive height of drop.
